The Imperial Palace in Shenyang
The Imperial Palace covers an area of over 60,000 square metres, with some 300 rooms in 70 buildings which are dispersed in a dozen courtyards. It is the best preserved group of imperial structures in the country next to the Palace Museum in Beijing, Recalling the style and lay-out of the latter, these buildings give expression to the brilliant achievements in architecture scored by the Man and Han nationalities in their cultural exchanges. There were altogether five imperial tombs in the Qing dynasty. Two of them, the Eastern and Western Tombs are located in Hebei Province while the other three -- the Yongling, Fuling and Zhaoling Tombs are all located in Liaoning Province. Surrounded by pines, the three tombs are rather impressive with their architecture typical of the Man nationality style.

The Qianshan (Thousand) Mountain
Situated not far from the suburbs of Anshan, it is a famous scenicspot in China, covering an area of 44 square kilometres with more than 180 places of interests and scenic spots. Peaks here rise one after another, with the highest being more than 700 metres above sea level. With totalling over 990, Qianshan is also called a Mountain of one Thousand Lotuses". Here on the Qianshan Mountain, you can feast your eyes on a variety of landscapes: the boundless sea of pines, elegant peaks, peculiar rocks and ancient temples. Bordered by the sea on its three sides, the City of Dalian is endowed with numerous beaches and a long and winding coastline. Sun bathing is very popular in Dalian. Each and every bathing beach boasts unique attraction. There are over a dozen parks in the city, the well-known being the Starry Sea Park and the Tiger Beach Park.

Dalian Beach - Lushuikou Scenic Spot: at the foot of hill and beside the sea. Due to mild climate all year round, it is a tourist and summer resort, famous for seaside park, and Laotieshan migratory birds and Snake Island Nature reserve.
